Q. (In progress.)
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Hit some really good shots, approach shots, so definitely helps with the birdie opportunities out there.
Overall it was a really solid round.
Q. And with those approach shots, how did the greens feel? How did they receive the balls? Do you think it was soft? Firm?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I think it played soft, and especially in the morning, so you kind of wanted to dodge in and like try to give yourself some really short putt birdie opportunities and try to hole as much as you can.
Q. Speaking of birdies, you had three in the last four holes I believe. Just talk about that stretch you had there.
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Again, I think my iron's been really friendly with me today, so I hit some really good shots on the 16, on par-3, and as well as the 17.
So I've been putting it well today as well. Speed was good. So it's been a great round.
Q. Anything else about the course that you really enjoy or like?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I mean, I always like coming back here to Portland. The food is good. The course is nice, but the food is really good here.
Every time I come back it feels really nice. Getting to come back every year it just seems like you're familiar with the course and like the people out here, and I think it's really nice. It's giving a good vibe all week.
