Q. All right, here with Lauren after her first round of the Portland Classic. 6-under to start the tournament. Just talk about how you played out there today.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I hit the ball extremely well. Stayed super patient. Finally got some putts to drop on the back nine. Yeah, no, it was a good round especially considering last week. Very happy.
Q. I was going to say, how has life changed since maybe that happened? A whirlwind of a lot of texts and messages I'm sure.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, for sure. And then just trying to come down from the high and reset and get ready for this week was kind of my biggest challenge, but goal as well.
I kind of started feeling more like myself yesterday; not as much up, because everybody kind of -- I pretty much saw everybody by Tuesday or anybody reached out mostly by Tuesday.
I was able to come down and reset.
Q. And just talk about adjusting to this course. A little different to the one we previously saw. Posted a good number, so obviously you adjusted well. Just talk about the process.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, the greens are a bit softer. They were starting to firm up there towards the end with the heat and stuff. I would anticipate them being much firmer come tomorrow.
But, no, I mean, I've always loved coming to this course. It's always in amazing shape. Luckily I know it pretty well. But I hit the ball extremely well today. Stayed super patient.
Q. Going bogey-free today after a course where're you're not going to go bogey-free or it was going to be much harder, how great is that feeling?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, like I said, I just felt like I was in super control of most things today, especially my irons. I mean, I lipped out a bunch of putts actually. Yeah, everything felt pretty good. Same old, same old.
