Q. Here with Jiwon Jeon after her second round at the Portland Classic. Big round it was for you today. Can you just talk about the hole-in-one there on No. 2?
JIWON JEON: Oh, yeah, I mean, I had kind of bad bogey on No. 10, so I'm like, okay, let me just focus back. Then I just standing on the tee and we were just going through the number. I was really just focused on hitting the number.
So we had 8-iron in our hand. Just hit it and just had one bounce and just rolled back, rolled in the hole. Was amazing. It was my first hole-in-one during the tournament, so amazing.
Q. Is it your first hole-in-one ever?
JIWON JEON: No, it was my second one. So I mean, I'm pretty low on the hole-in-ones, but, yeah, I'm gaining some hole-in-ones now, from now on.
Q. First on tour, right?
JIWON JEON: Yeah, first one on the LPGA for sure.
Q. What yardage did you have on 2?
JIWON JEON: So I'm in meters. The meters 131, so it was like 143 yards.
Q. Got you. So you saw it go in. It bounced and you saw it go in. What was the reaction on the tee box?
JIWON JEON: Actually kind of missed it going in. I was just already walking off the tee box, and then like, I don't know, I heard someone screaming and then I think I kind of see like the ball fell in but I wasn't sure.
So like everyone just kind of go crazy, so (indiscernible) just gave my high five, so started giving high fives to everyone. Yeah, it was nice.
Q. How much did that help you through the rest of your round? I know you said you clubbed down on a couple holes because you were jacked up on...
JIWON JEON: Yeah, well, yeah, so No. 10 I hit, I don't know, I think that was a flier or something. I just flew like five meters longer than what I used to hit.
I was like, okay, I have might have to club down a little bit, which we did. Then the greens were getting dried so the greens were more firmer, so we had to kind of calculate that as well.
But after making hole-in-one on No. 2 it just kind of gave me like focus more from then, so I was making more birdies afterwards which is really good.
So like I was trying to stay in the momentum because I was kind of struggling. I was kind of frustrated with myself because I missed a lot of (plane - indiscernible) for birdies.
So, yeah, that was a good turnaround for me trying to get the focus back and trying to finish strong.
Q. Awesome. Last question: With each hole-in-one CME Group donates $20,000 to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
JIWON JEON: I love that. Amazing.
Q. Just your reaction to that news and what it means that your hole-in-one is going to a really good cause.
JIWON JEON: I think it's very -- I mean, it feels great that I can actually contribute some donation to the children who need some help and Childrens Hospital. So I'm very happy that I can put some, you know, I don't know, my contribution in there. Yeah, I'm trying to have more hole-in-ones afterwards and then probably more donations.
