Q. All right are here with Sofia Garcia after her third round of the Portland Classic. Solid round today. Move up the leaderboard a little bit. Just talk about how it went out there.
SOFIA GARCIA: It was a great day. Obviously the putt was hot so really started to come in. I chip well. Actually I have opportunity to chip around the par-5s and took advantage of that.
Played solidly. I think I had a few shots that I wasn't very happy with, but I think the day was solid. Was one of those days that goes your way. I think I took advantage of it.
Q. Looks like you had a streak of really good shots with six birdies in a row. Have you ever done that before? What do you remember from those six holes?
SOFIA GARCIA: I feel like I need to remember where it started. I don't think I have six birdies for sure. I think maybe four.
It's nice. Now I'm going to go look at the card and make sure there are. Obviously that's a good sign and it reflected on the scores.
Q. Is there any pressure to get just as many birdies as possible when you see some low scores and people going super low?
SOFIA GARCIA: I think definitely the knowledge that the scores are going to be low puts you in the mindset you have to go out and get it.
The weather is perfect. The winds are really nice. So it's obviously out there. You got to make some birdies to move up the leaderboard.
Also it let's you know that you can do it, so a little bit of both.
Q. Talk about play with Daniela today. You two looked like you had a great time, especially walking up 18 here. Just talk about if you have ever played together.
SOFIA GARCIA: We are really good friends. We were actually having dinner yesterday before the pairings came out. We knew it was close. With twosomes you have less opportunity to play with someone that is close to you in scores, so I actually texted her right after I saw the pairing.
So it was nice. I know her caddie. We are all really good friends. It was a little bit of a treat to be able to play with her today. First time we played tournament rounds together.
