Q. We are joined by Perrine Delacour after a 3-under 68 in the second round of the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer. Perrine, a solid two days for you. Another cap on it today with a birdie on 18. Four birdies on the scorecard, an early bogey on No. 2. Take us through how you bounced back to shoot under par and continue the strong play here?
PERRINE DELACOUR: I'm pretty happy about the round. Today it was playing harder I feel like, especially this morning was cold compared to yesterday. Played really solid. Unfortunately made that bogey on No. 2. Everything was pretty good. Solid rounds, solid playing. Pretty happy, and just now going to rest for tomorrow's round.
Q. What is about this course that you particularly like and maybe something that is a little bit challenging that you're feeding off this week?
PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, for sure. This course can be easy but also hard depending on the wind. Today was windy and tough green, like really firm green.
So I really play solid all day long, so pretty happy about it.
Q. You had a great finish in Portland a couple weeks ago. How much are you feeding off that and what's something maybe that you picked up in your game to find these good, positive momentum starts?
PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, I got a really good T4 in Portland, so I will keep positive until -- like tomorrow I'm going to fight for it and see what I can have it in my bag. I try the best and just keep going.
Q. Is there something about this kind of end stretch of the season that has you particularly fired up to play well or anything?
PERRINE DELACOUR: Not really. My game was pretty good. I made a switch from iron the week of Portland. I switched to an iron put me more spin on it, so I was happy about it.
That was definitely help me like my game for sure. I think I was closer to the pin since I have those new irons, so I'm pretty happy about it.
Q. What did you you have and what did you switch to?
PERRINE DELACOUR: I used to have the Apex, regular Apex, and my coach want me to switch to the Apex Pro. So just before Portland I went to Callaway and get a really good fitting, and then make me switch to the Apex Pro right way. I could see the difference. It's really help me a lot.
Q. Where did you get the fitting done at?
PERRINE DELACOUR: In Carlsbad, Callaway.
Q. Oh, and that's in Oregon?
PERRINE DELACOUR: Carlsbad, California.
Q. Oh, Carlsbad. Good spot. Do you go there often at all as a Callaway rep?
PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, I work with Chris Mason, my coach, who's based in San Diego. Usually when I go to San Diego I usually go to see Callaway and work with them couple times.
It's more option when you work with him over there than on tour, so I always like to be over there and practice there and work with him.
Q. And for the casual golfer like myself or other fans, when you say you noticed a difference right away, what did you see?
PERRINE DELACOUR: Well, I had like way more spin on it, so that helped me to have a better control, like distance control, which I mean, you always look for it, like having really good control of your distance.
So I have a really better -- like even with a good Apex iron and a bad Apex iron I was having like sometimes 10, 15 yards different, which right now I only have 5 or 10, which is really good. That's why I like it.
