Q. It is a great story. Haven't played in nine years, got your mom out here, so many emotions. Take us through the emotions starting at with the first tee.
MEAGHAN FRANCELLA: Yeah, I was pretty nervous going off 1. My hands were shaking a little bit. Once I got off the tee I was okay after that.
I piked a drive off 2.
Made a birdie on 3 and felt pretty good.
Then just kind of played consistently throughout the day.
Birdied 9, 10, 11 and really was like, oh, God, what am I doing?
So just felt really good and patient out there. Really confident in my swing. I rolled a few putts in, which is always helpful.
Q. What are you telling yourself when you get yourself in contention? I'm on the leaderboard. What are you telling yourself then?
MEAGHAN FRANCELLA: I'm not going to quit my day job. I know that. But I'm just trying to enjoy it and have fun. I have a lot of people out here watching and supporting me, and I'm just trying to enjoy it. I really am.
I spent a lot of time in my career not enjoying it and I'm really trying to take it all in and just enjoy what I'm doing. I'm really having a lot of fun out there.
