Q. Brittany, four birdies on the card today. Just how are you feeling after day two?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Felt great. I just kind of wanted to go in -- I love this golf course. It seems to set up well for my game. Obviously I won here a million years ago.
But, yeah, just seems like all the holes kind of fit my eye. Like I'm driving it well. Just a few more putts went today which was great, so hopefully we can keep that going.
Q. Take me through some of the birdies. I know especially a bogey-free I think on your front nine.
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Uh-huh. Yeah, so the last conditional I made were literally less than one foot, like super stress-free, like go up and tap them in before all the other girls could putt. That's how the day was, easy peasy. Didn't have too much stress, which was nice.
Those are the days you like. Hopefully that will stick around. I think I made a ten- or fifteen-footer but nothing super crazy. Everything was right next to the hole, which was nice.
Q. Both you and Morgane in contention. What's it like to have both of you bouncing off each other?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Yeah, it was great. I hadn't played with her before so it was nice to get to know her and learn something new about a fellow player.
You seem to play with the same people all the time, so it was nice to play with somebody different and just kind of have something else to talk about on the golf course while you're out there.
She was lovely, so hopefully we can both go at it tomorrow.
Q. Just the leaderboard is an interesting mix of people who have never won before and a lot of big-name players and yourself.
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Yeah.
Q. Who has the advantage tomorrow? Is there an advantage to people who have won before?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Yeah, I would think who have won before, but the three day makes it a little bit more interesting, because obviously takes out that one extra round that -- you normally have that one extra round to kind of make or break your week.
So I always think the three days are just a little bit easier to get the win, maybe your first win because it's one less day.
So you never know. Obviously the big names are the ones that are most likely to win, but Morgane was playing so great. She's super consistent and just makes a few putts here and there, which is what you need to do.
Somebody like that could win, too. I hear the weather is going to be really bad, so could be anybody's game I guess.
Q. What's it like coming back to Seaview, a place where you won, like you said, in 2004?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Yeah, super special. Just a lot of good memories, especially coming up 18. I hit it in two in the fescue and having to hit like this crazy shot out and make that putt to win, so just good memories of knowing you can hit hard shots when you need to under pressure, and that I've won here before and anything is possible.
