Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Jodi Ewart Shadoff coming off her final round here at the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer.

Let's start at the end, that eagle there on 18 to put you in solo third for now. Walk me through that hole.

JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, I had a nice number in, 180 front I think, so it was like a perfect 4-hybrid with a little bit of wind.

Yeah, I hit the ball really good, so I thought it had a chance of going in at one stage. Yeah, really nice way to finish.

Q. Was that the highlight of your round you would say?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, definitely.

Q. What were the other wins out there today?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: You know, I had birdie on 9. I had a couple birdies on the front. I played really steady today. Just a lot of par golf; couple putts could have gone in here or there.

I feel like I managed my emotions out there being in contention, and just a really good experience going into the rest of the season.

Q. Yeah. You had some good competition out there. Albane, Lydia. Did you enjoy playing with them? Does the competition make you play better yourself?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, absolutely. We all played really well. Both world class players and really nice to play with. Yeah, I think all of us playing well definitely had something to do with playing well for sure.

Q. Course seemed a little easier today. Did you find that to be the case?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: I think the rain that we had overnight and this morning definitely softened the course up a little bit so you could be a little bit more aggressive.

So, yeah, I mean, Friday, Saturday was playing a lot firmer and faster so it was a little bit tougher in that respect. Today you could just be aggressive and go at the pins; the greens were holding.

Q. I want to talk about your mental game a little. I know you've been playing really well lately. Still haven't got the win. Does that frustrate you or are you just happy to be playing well?

JODI EWART SHADOFF: I'm building some really good momentum going into the rest of the season. Had a really good event at match play. You know, it was tough not to be in -- go into the semifinal, final, but I think it was really good experience, and it's just showed coming out this week I worked on a couple things.

Just managing my emotions a little better on the golf course. Just trying to stay in the moment and stick to the process.
