Q. Solid final day for you today in all of this craziness of what feels like a moving day on Sunday. Just take me through your overall reflections of this week.
ALBANE VALENZUELA: Yeah, just very proud of myself. I felt really good early in the week and I just knew if I stayed patient and play my own game I could have a solid tournament.
And just very proud of myself for today. Bogey-free round on a Sunday, that's all I could ask for. Obviously could always do a little bit better, but just proud of myself for putting myself in contention and staying there.
Q. What do you think clicked the best for you this week?
ALBANE VALENZUELA: Just honestly everything tee to green was really solid. I felt very confident with my long game. Kind of grinded last week.
Not playing in the U.S. Open is always pretty tough and frustrating, but I took it as an opportunity to reset, worked on my swing, saw my coach, and went back to the basics.
I think this week I just rolled the ball really well. I didn't have a three-putt, which I think is the first time this season, especially on poana greens.
I'm just proud of myself for hanging in there.
Q. What does this mean for your confidence level as we get into the summer swing?
ALBANE VALENZUELA: I think aside of the result I was already feeling so calm, confident, and just so happy to be on a golf course. I was telling Jesus, I've never been happier playing golf, and I think it just translates to results.
I'm just proud of myself for the way I'm playing the game. Results I think follow just because of your attitude and how happy you are on the course.
