Quick Quotes

Q. Course record tying 62. What a day.

MI HYANG LEE: Oh, really?

Q. Yeah.

MI HYANG LEE: Okay, I didn't know that, and actually, just I made eagle from the shot, and second shot was 11.

I think I had to make the lot of birdie chance today inside five feet, and then it was made the good short putts, too, but I think my shot was really great today.

Q. Is that your career low round or have you shot lower?

MI HYANG LEE: No, I shoot 10-under par at the Founders Cup before.

Q. Awesome. That's not that long ago. You've been playing a lot of really solid golf.

MI HYANG LEE: Uh-huh.

Q. In a pretty short amount of time. What's been working so well for you? Is it ball striking? Is it putting?

MI HYANG LEE: Actually everything, because it was like tough year for me this year, and then so I had a really good three weeks off the last three weeks, and so I been in Korea and just working with my swing, and then I met my first coach in Korea.

Just I talk with him a lot about my mentally, and then trying to get a lot of the short game. So, yeah, been working on it today.

Q. What did your coach have to tell you, if you don't mindset sharing?

MI HYANG LEE: So he just says, you know, just need to believe in myself, and then he says -- like he knows me -- I mean, you know you're a good player. Like because I had a little lose confidence, so was good help, uh-huh.

Q. What does a round like today mean to you? You said you've had kind of a tough season.

MI HYANG LEE: Just I want to just have fun because this is my last tournament of the year. So just talk with my caddie, and just we want to just have fun, then, yeah, that's it. Just make some putt and have fun, yeah.

Q. So is that having fun, are you getting more aggressive? I saw you hit it pretty tight on 18.

MI HYANG LEE: Yeah, uh-huh. So I don't care about going in the hedge or even just go get (indiscernible.) You know, even it doesn't matter for me, so...

Yeah, was just think about the shot by shot and then just try have fun.

Q. How would you rate your season overall? You're going to probably end up on a pretty good note here at Pelican.

MI HYANG LEE: I didn't play well last year, tie 60 something, so I feel like really tough golf course for me. But it wasn't the wind hard today, so feel little difference, uh-huh.

Q. Course record. How many course records do you have?

MI HYANG LEE: Maybe two, Founders and here. I don't know.

Q. Wow, that's just terrific.

MI HYANG LEE: I didn't know it was course record today. Yeah, I didn't know that.

Q. You equaled it. It was set yesterday. You shot same thing as Leona.

MI HYANG LEE: Ah, that was course record, okay. But it was like more windy yesterday, so I think she played well. Today was more calm.

Q. You may have already answered this, what clicked today that wasn't working yesterday?

MI HYANG LEE: I think different wind. Today was more easier. And then play more short club.

Q. Okay.

MI HYANG LEE: Uh-huh.

Q. More short club?

MI HYANG LEE: I think so. But it was a little long par-5 today because it was into the wind today, but still we can get to the -- reach the green, so more wedge shot, and then another par-4 was more -- yeah, actually No. 2 was behind wind so we can hit the -- it's not a short club, but still 7- or 8-iron. That's better than hybrid with that hard green.

So I think that's why more chance to make the birdie today. I think so.
