MEECHAI WICHANEE:
Q. Okay, I'm here with Meechai Wichanee after her first round at the The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican.
Really solid round for you today. Can you just tell me about a couple of the highlights?
MEECHAI WICHANEE: So I hit it really good irons today. You know, it's like a rollercoaster for me at the front nine. It's like bogey, birdie, birdie, birdie, and then I had kind of bad luck with the mudball one hole; I made bogey from it.
After that, I think I have a good iron shot, so that's why I try to make a comeback.
Q. Last year you finished in the top 20 at this event. What is it you like about this golf course or this event that brings out your game?
MEECHAI WICHANEE: I think I like the golf course firm, hot, and the green kind of fast, so I think it just fit my game probably. I hope it fit my game, yeah. So that's why.
Q. Last question: I know you're 84th right now on the Race to the CME Globe. How big of a goal is the CME Group Tour Championship next week? Are you thinking about it?
MEECHAI WICHANEE: Yeah, so I talked to my caddie. I have to finish top 3 maybe. I'm just going to try my best and just focus on what I have to do. That's it.
