Q. Alexa, didn't have a chance to be out there with you, but looking through those scores you certainly were able to get the job done with a lot of birdies. You also had a really good finish at Lake Nona earlier in the year. You grew up in Florida. Does it make it easier for you growing up in Florida playing that's Florida courses?

ALEXA PANO: I don't know. Maybe. Kind of seems to be a little bit of a trend. I don't know. Lake Nona and Pelican are just courses that I really like.

I'm not the most familiar with. I've only played it for the golf tournaments. I just really like them. They're really good setups and always in great condition.

Q. Your sophomore year on the LPGA Tour. Does everything seem to go a little bit smoother for you now you know your way round?

ALEXA PANO: I wish that was the way it worked. Some things are easier; some things will always be hard. Learning something new every week still.

Q. What was your key really today to having as many birdies as you did?

ALEXA PANO: Yeah, just taking opportunities where I had them; making putts when I had the opportunity. You kind of have to play smart and a little bit conservative on some holes out there and some you can be a little more aggressive on.

Got to take what the course gives you out here.

Q. Like on the last hole there. A little bit of a tough way to finish. Can you put into words just how hard it is if your slightly out of position on this course?

ALEXA PANO: Yeah, especially hole No. 18. That has to be the hardest hole on the course. There is no good miss. Definitely not the finish I wanted, but I know 18 is a brutal hole. I had 17 other good holes today so keeping my head high going into the weekend.
