Q. All right, here with Wichanee Meechai after her second round here at Pelican Golf Club. Really solid round, especially on your back nine. Five birdies back there. Can you just tell me about the day today?
WICHANEE MEECHAI: So today I think I play my irons really good. Like I put it so close like three or four holes today and then so just make the putt, and then so that's why I play good.
Q. What were some of your goals coming into this week, I'm curious, as maybe the last event of the season?
WICHANEE MEECHAI: You know, I have a thought I can win the tournament if I can get my soul or my brain together. I think I could win the tournament, and then, yeah, I think that's my goal for this tournament.
If I could win it's going to be great, yeah.
Q. Winning a tournament could very well get you into CME. Is that something that's been on your mind, too?
WICHANEE MEECHAI: Yes, but winning, it's more than to play on the next event. It's just like can fulfill my inspired and can fulfill my dream, something like that.
So I think that will be my goal more than get into play next week.
Q. What is it about this week that you felt strongly that you could win and come out here and perform really well?
WICHANEE MEECHAI: Just very tough style golf course. You don't shoot 8- or 9-under. Just like you need to work on really game plan more and then put yourself in the good position.
So I think that's my strengths of my game, so that's why I think it's fit me pretty good.
Q. All rounds have momentum up and down. Did the long putt at 11 really sort of the kick start you?
WICHANEE MEECHAI: Yes. Actually, really, it really kick me up because if I miss that hole it's going to -- I think it's going to pass hole probably five feet. It's really make my momentum come back.
And then the shot on the par-3, 12, like it's really tough shot and I hit it really good, great shot.
So I think that's two shots that's make me like feel like I can get it out there.
