Q. All right, here with Ronni Yin after her third round here at the CME Group Tour Championship. Just a bogey-free round today. Got to play with Jeeno. What was some of the highlights out there?
RUONING YIN: I mean, today my approach shot was really good and I gave myself a lot of chances. I make some putts as well.
Just another fun day with Jeeno. She's crushing it. The eagle on 17 I was like -- I told her after the putt I was like, I feel like you can make it. She was like, why not? I was like, okay.
So it's really fun playing with her. She definitely motivates me as well.
Q. Is that typically what it's like? Is this the first time you played together outside of Dow obviously?
RUONING YIN: No, we played together...
Q. In a round, yeah.
RUONING YIN: Well, we played together at Buick, Korea, Maybank, and this is like four in a row.
Q. What's a normal Jeeno/Ronni conversation when you're walking down the fairway?
RUONING YIN: Our conversation is so random. Could be fruit. Could be food. Mostly food. Like a lot.
Yeah.
Q. Talk about the putt on 18 to finish it off. What was going through your mind stepping over it?
RUONING YIN: When I saw her make that putt I was like, ah. I wanted to make it so bad. I thought it's going to go in but -- and then I thought it's going to lip out and finally it's like go in the hole.
So I'm happy.
Q. What has a friendship like Jeeno's meant to you off the golf course?
RUONING YIN: Off the course, I mean, we both live in Dallas and she sometimes she just like come to my house for lunch after her practice.
I told her just come whenever you want, and she is like, I know. So, it's really good to have her company and especially on the tour. It's really cool to have a friend can hang out with no matter it's on the course or off the course.
Q. For you going into tomorrow in contention, had such a great season dealing with some of the things you dealt with as far as injuries goes, to pull it out tomorrow, what would that mean to you to cap off your season in such a great way?
RUONING YIN: I mean, a W finish the season obviously couldn't be better, right? But, I mean, I think I'm still three shot behind right now, but I think play in the CME just like top 60 player in the season is playing in this event, and I think if I can finish solid tomorrow that just, you know, give me a lot of confidence going to the off-season and prepare for my next season.
Q. How would $4 million change your life?
RUONING YIN: I will think about this tomorrow. After. Maybe. Yeah. Good question, though.
Q. Have you put much thought into it at all? Do you think it'll impact you inside the ropes tomorrow?
RUONING YIN: Not really. I don't think -- on the course I just want to focus on golf things because every shot is really important and I just want to execute my shot like be able to execute my shot every shot for tomorrow.
Q. What impressed you the most about Jeeno today?
RUONING YIN: She got 14 fairway, 16 greens. So it's really like -- I mean, her consistency is always, I really love about. So I would say her consistency, her putting, her approach, her tee shot. Just everything I think is like really high right now.
