Q. Tell me about knocking some rust off.
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, you know, it was eight straight pars; couple were pretty clutch par saves, but I was ready to make some birdies, and was able to do that on the back nine, which was really fun.
Great off-season. I really enjoyed my time off and also the practice that I was able to put in.
Moving forward I feel like this was a great start, and looking forward to the next three days.
Q. I know that you changed golf balls and I know you tested some drivers. How is all the equipment stuff going?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, I did way more equipment changes and testing that I have ever really done. Driver is still work in progress, but the ball was a really quick switch, which is really exciting.
I love the way it's been performing in the off-season and happy with how it went today.
Q. You're putting with the flagstick in, which I think is new. How long have you been doing it, and why did you go that route?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Again, something in the off season I decided to go with. Near the end of the season I did some in and some without, but during the off-season I decided that I wanted to keep it in for probably 99% of the putts.
I think just comfortability. I like the way it looks. Just a little something different that seem to be working.
Q. So just a visual thing for you?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah.
