Quick Quotes

Q. Yuka Saso, 4-under 68; five birdies on the card today. How was your round out there?

YUKA SASO: I putted very good compared to last two days, and also my tee shot was very consistent.

That was very helpful. And, yeah, I think I putted well, so...

Q. What did you find in your putting today versus the last couple days?

YUKA SASO: No three-putts. (Laughing.)

Q. Were you just getting the speed of the greens a little bit better?

YUKA SASO: I think so, yeah, getting more used to it.

Q. How different did the golf course play today? I know Nona is a tricky on a good day, but it was wet and windy out there today. How different did the course play?

YUKA SASO: Obviously not much roll from the tee, and like you said, it's wet today, so from the second shot was easy to go for the flag because I know it's going to stop. Yeah, that was pretty much it.

Q. I guess this year you'll play under the flag of Japan. Can you talk about that decision and when you made that?

YUKA SASO: Because Japan -- well, obviously for me it doesn't really matter. I'm very proud of my dual citizenship. Whatever I represent, I'm Filipino.

So it was just for passport more, because if I have Japanese passport then I can travel mostly everywhere with no visa, and that will be very helpful for my game, for my career.

That was pretty much it.

Q. Just a couple. Heading into tomorrow what's the mindset going into another cold day here?

YUKA SASO: Stay warm and have fun.

Q. You're going to be three back. Are you a player that likes to chase a leader or not and why?

YUKA SASO: I don't know, but doesn't really matter. I'll just focus on my game and do my best and play good golf.

Q. I know you said you came into this week and you didn't do a lot during the off-season so you didn't expect a whole lot. Have you seen a lot of positives to your game?

YUKA SASO: There is some positive and there is some points that I want to work on, but I don't think I have to rush or anything.

I'm just trying to get the feel, and I think I'm doing a good job this week. Hopefully I can keep this up.

Q. What are you most looking forward to about having a full calendar?

YUKA SASO: First I'm very happy and very thankful that I'll be able to play full season here on the LPGA. Was my dream, so trying to enjoy every moment and play good golf.
