Q. Welcome Mardy Fish to the interview area. So you played really great today. Two birdies. How has the rainy and cold weather affected your play on the course?
MARDY FISH: Yeah, it was tough out there for us Amateurs for sure. I usually play -- if it's like this outside at home, I don't play; just stay on the couch.
But it was challenging. It was fun. It was just trying to make a lot of pars and got a couple birdies in there, few bogeys.
I'm not exactly sure what I shot, but it felt pretty solid.
Q. So how do you feel going up against an LPGA Hall of Famer Annika on her own home course?
MARDY FISH: Yeah, doesn't sound fair, does it? No, look, I mean, she's the greatest women's golfer ever. I've wanted to play with her for a long time. She plays in Tahoe and played in this I think last year as well maybe.
So I wanted to play with her and pick her brain a little bit, you know, so hopefully we're paired together. It'll be fun. Yeah, she's got a lot of course knowledge for sure.
Q. And what's your key to staying so consistent these past three days?
MARDY FISH: Well, day one was the opposite of that. I shot 9-over, so it was pretty bad. I had it going yesterday; played pretty good. Threw a few bogeys in there at the end.
I can't complain. I don't play a whole lot of golf and these things are super fun to play. Just trying to stay out of the girls' way.
Q. And how are you going to prepare for the final round tomorrow?
MARDY FISH: Going to put my feet up and take a warm bath or shower, watch some football, get some rest, see how it goes.
