Q. In terms of more nerve-racking moments, sold-out crowds or having to go first in this?
CHRIS LANE: Probably this for sure. I'm used to walking out on stage and running with a crowd, but hitting in front of some LPGA Tour players was definitely pretty nerve-racking.
Q. How fun was it to play in this event? Seemed like it was a lot of fun.
CHRIS LANE: Oh, my gosh, I'm so thankful they asked me to do it. Just very excited they asked me to be here for a great week.
Q. Along those same lines, golf is very different performing in front of a lot of people. What are you expecting for your nerves?
CHRIS LANE: I think I'm probably going to be pretty nervous on the first day, and I'll probably settle in a little bit more every single day. I just had a newborn about eight, nine weeks ago, so I haven't played any golf coming into this event.
But yeah, again, super excited to be here. It's going to be such a fun week.
Q. What are you looking forward to the most about the week that's coming up?
CHRIS LANE: Honestly, I think just meeting a lot of the players and other celebrities and just the camaraderie of hanging out and meeting new people. And of course I'm obsessed with the game of golf, so getting to play four rounds plus the practice rounds is pretty special. There is no one more excited to be here than I am. I can promise you that.
Q. How special is it having a newborn?
CHRIS LANE: Amazing. We're not sleeping at all yet, but we have a one-year-old and like an eight- or nine-week-old, so it's hard at home right now. I think my wife is going to sneak away for a couple days and come out to this event, though.
Q. With the glass thing, any lyrics pop into your head --
CHRIS LANE: Well, there was definitely an old song, and I was trying to figure out who was singing it, but I said we've got one theme for our group over there, and it's break-the-glass, break-the-glass. Anybody remember that song? What was that?
Q. Kinda because you had mentioned it. I heard you whispering it to Brian. Do you remember what it was called?
CHRIS LANE: I can't. It makes me want to go look it up now.
