Q. Rose, first Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Overall, how was this first season opener for you?
ROSE ZHANG: It was great. Definitely feel like I have a lot to work on, but I think there is so much potential.
I'm glad that I came out with a birdie to start out 2024 and ended with a birdie to end the first event.
But I think there is just so much to work on, a lot of positives, and really excited.
Q. For you, I know you were working on a little bit of homework over the last couple days. How did it feel balancing that in your first competitive event?
ROSE ZHANG: Balancing school in general is definitely a little bit challenging and I think it still holds true it being very challenging.
It's more so just the time management, and I think there is still room to be better at it. I'm really excited to just go back, able to grind, able to do work with my schoolmates, teammates, being and then just get better.
Q. Stanford is calling. We'll next see you in a couple months. Are you thinking of putting the clubs down even for a little bit?
ROSE ZHANG: I'm thinking about getting my body in shape first. I did have some kind of neck issues and shoulder issues, but I think I'm not going to let the putter down.
I think the issue is the putter has been letting me down, so I'll be able to grind a little bit on that and it'll take a good amount of time for me to get away from full swing and more into the short game.
