MEGAN KHANG: You know, this tournament is so special. It's super cool, not only just for the champions on the LPGA Tour, but you get to meet some pretty cool people, you know, in their own rights. Michael Pena and I have become pretty good friends. I've played with him in a pro-am, funny enough, couple years ago. Meeting Landon Donovan, again, I wouldn't get a chance to meet them if it wasn't for this kind of tournament.
This is my second year here. Got to win this coming here to make sure I coming back, so that's definitely the goal this year.
Q. How many friendships do you form in tournaments like this?
MEGAN KHANG: I've been known to be pretty outgoing, and last year I got to play with some pretty cool people. Ray Allen, and being from Massachusetts, obviously Celtics, and I picked his grain I have brain a little bit of.
Taylor Twellman man and I were members of the same golf club, and we were out there playing. It's really cool. Like I've funny enough, ran into Chris Lane in the parking lot yesterday. Huge fan of his music.
Being able to rub elbows with those people and seeing how down to earth and how golf brings so many communities together is the cherry on top. I'm very lucky to call this work.
Q. Sort of a laid back week but you're also locking in. It's a real tournament. First tournament of the calendar year. How do you balance having a good time and also locking in to get the season started?
MEGAN KHANG: I always joke with my caddie come Thursday that he's going to have to remind me it's actually a tournament.
Too bad he couldn't do that in the challenge.
CADDIE: But I did it on camera.
MEGAN KHANG: We know you're good on camera. Come on. That's a given.

Q. Balancing having fun and also locking in.
MEGAN KHANG: It's definitely tough. You know, playing with the celebrities, I have to remind myself we're all just here playing golf and having a good time. For me personally it's nice to have kind of that atmosphere of just being able to kind of chitchat and, you know, maybe have a little competition with these guys.
There are some really good golfers, and a lot of them who are here definitely have the bug. It's definitely fun and if I can, if never have in I questions I'm more than happy it help. Definitely rely on my caddie a lot to remind me, hey, Megan, we got to compete, too.
