Q. All right, here with Patty Tavatanakit. Patty, just take me through the second day here. A little bit of different conditions, but how were you feeling after the first day as well?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I felt pretty good. I felt like my game has always been kind of steady since last week, you know. I could score a little bit better today, but I still left a couple out.
Q. What was it like coming from somewhere kind of close to home and then coming out here? Being able to rest in your bed that first week, do you think that helped getting ready for this week?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Definitely. I feel very much comfortable to start off like that. It's always a good feeling.
Q. What was it like starting at the Tournament of Champions last week, just having that whole experience, opening your season with that based on your major win?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It was fun. I feel like I was just warming up for this week, which is good. I see a lot about my game, where I can improve, where it's good, and honestly just gives me a little bit more confidence come into this week.
Q. What were some of the things you were working on heading into not only last week, but that you learned from last week heading into this week?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: A little bit, you know, of my swing here and there, and just mainly just play and -- I don't know, I don't want say not make mistakes. It's like you will make mistakes. But just play and commit to your shot, because everything is pretty much pretty good. It's just a matter of execution.
Q. Did you approach your off-season any differently as compared to maybe other times?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Not really. I just been, you know, doing the same thing because obviously that worked. I didn't want to change anything. I did change my equipment for the whole bag except for my putter, so...
Q. Your putter changed? You just said your putter changed?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: No, I changed everything else but my putter.
Q. Got you. With that, not a lot of low numbers at the end of today's round. For you being able to end at 4-under, what are you feeling and how do you think this course sets up for your game?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It's a good course, and when it's windy we don't get a lot of rolls because the course is pretty wet. It plays long. I'm going in with 5-iron flighted, stronger flight.
It's just long. I mean, yeah, it's tough.
Q. What seemed to be working nicely in your game today?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I think my iron play was really good. Put myself in good position.
Q. You say you changed everything in the bag. What's that process like?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Just like nothing has changed. Everything fit me really well. Just clicked really good.
Q. As you enter a new season, can you talk about your comfort level starting this year, maybe to where you were a year ago?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Pretty comfortable. I feel like just I've been -- I mean, this is my third year supposedly being on tour, and just a little bit more comfortable.
I know a lot of people out here. It's getting more friendly err, a lot of new faces this week, but at the same time we all played from when we were younger.
Again, like there is not much I can control rather than feeling good about myself and about my game, so I feel good.
Q. And any highlights with the birdies today or any big par saves?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I don't remember much because like most of the time I was just like laughing with Yuka. Yeah.
Q. Laughing with Yuka. I know the two of you are quite close. What was it like playing with her these past few days?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It could be tough because you're over the ball and you just want to laugh. Sometimes you kind of have to tell yourself, Okay, focus, just one shot, and then you can laugh after.
Yeah, we had a lot of good times out there.
