Q. All right, Patty, thank you so much for taking the time with us. Yesterday you mentioned that you wanted it produce more cut shots. Have you been able to get the shots that you wanted today?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I tried to hit one. I hit one in the water on 11, so it didn't go the way I wanted it to. But made a really nice up and down and that kind of turned my round the other way.
Just kept hung in there and keep hitting good shots, yeah.
Q. It was horrible weather conditions, but also you played superb today. How did you feel just with today's round?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It was kind of slow. It wasn't -- it was just like if anything I would describe it as like boring golf type round. Just a lot of pars. Didn't make too many mistakes, but two bogeys, which is fine.
It's really tough conditions today. I hit a lot of greens. I had 32 putts. Shot 3-under. I think I hit a lot of greens today, which is always nice to just to putts, tap-in for par, and move on. It's always nice to have that feeling and walk off the green to the next hole.
Q. You also said yesterday you're starting the season really strong and it feels good. How do you feel going into the tomorrow with that confidence?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I do know that if I'm patient enough the course will open up and there are going to be birdie opportunities in every hole I play. But like you're not going to make birdie every single hole.
I'm going to stick to my game plan tomorrow, do the same thing, play boring golf, I guess, steady golf, and just like keep being positive on the course and it pull out more my inner Grant Wade and hit it close to the flag.
