Q. Leona, 2-under round today at the top of the leaderboard at the HSBC Women's World Championship. What can you say about the course conditions you saw out there?
LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, I mean, I think there's plenty of chances if you hit the right shots. I didn't drive the ball particularly well today but gave myself a few chances and holed some putts and made a few birdies which is nice.
Q. I heard there is a new bunker on 18. How did that maybe change your strategy on 18?
LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, it means you can't hit it up the left side like we used to. So you're going to have to hit it right which makes that second shot a lot tougher, especially with the wind being off the right. It's definitely making it a tough finishing hole. Just kind of have to make your score when you get there.
Q. What have you enjoyed the most about this tournament and being in Singapore?
LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, Singapore is great. It's probably my favourite stop in Asia. It's very clean, people are friendly, lots of good food. Yes, it's hot and humid, but it's a nice place.
Q. Still the beginning of the 2024 season. What are you kind of looking forward to for the rest of the year?
LEONA MAGUIRE: I mean, big summer ahead with the majors and Solheim Cup and Olympics and all that. Feels like these first few are a bit of a warm up for them and then just trying to play as well as you can going into the summer.
