Q. After your final round at the HSBC Women's World Championship, 5-under today, might not have been the last hole you wanted but you went eagle birdie before that. So can you just talk about that?
MI HYANG LEE: So it was a really good start the first three holes. Then I made, not a good up-and-down, but at least I made bogey. It was came back on No. 7 to make birdie. It was really good patience on the back nine before the eagle. It was a really good decision to hit the second shot on the par five, so really thanks to my caddie to go one club longer. Then good putt.
Next hole, I had a really good confidence with the left-to-right uphill putt, so it was great. Then it was like last hole was a little annoying to me, but it was great to try to be on the green and make the birdie. But really hard decision from the rough, and then wind a little swirling in here today.
It was a really hard bunker shot and I made bogey there.
Q. Great round today, and you're playing next week. What kind of confidence does that give you after shooting up the leaderboard a little bit today?
MI HYANG LEE: I never think about the leaderboard today, actually. It was good momentum to me, and really look forward it playing next week.
Q. And what kind of confidence does this give you as well so early in the season seeing some good rounds like this?
MI HYANG LEE: Yeah, because I have really tough golf last few years, and then was really good come back last year, as well. And then it was a good start to Drive on, actually, for me, and it was super windy there but I had a really good shot there. I had a lot of confidence from there, too, and it was great last round in Thailand, as well. So I think it was good golfing now.
Q. Is there something about the final round that you have a different mindset or hungry to get up the leaderboard maybe?
MI HYANG LEE: Today I was super tired because it was super hot the last two weeks and here. Just trying to make the fairway and make the green and make the putt. Maybe simple is best.
