Q. Here with Alison Lee. A little bit of a bittersweet day, but kind of a fun way to end the week here. Tell me about the putt on 18.
ALISON LEE: Yeah, honestly, I knew I had to potentially hole-out to try and give it a shot, but, yeah, I mean, it's great to finish on a birdie. It's nice to finish like that in front of my friends and family.
Obviously disappointed with my round today. You know, it all came down to one stroke, and I feel like just replaying the round in my head I feel like there were so many opportunities that I missed, especially coming down the stretch, where I just made some dumb mistakes and it cost me the tournament basically.
So obviously I can't help but feel disappointed I feel like coming up short once again. I feel like I've been constantly feeling this coming up short over and over again for the last few events.
But, yeah, I'm just going to do everything I can to take positive from this week and take it into the next few weeks. We still got two more events on the west coast, and I feel really good about my game.
So, yeah, like I said, it's tough. With how I played today I feel like -- gosh, I really, really feel like I could've played better and I really, really thought this could be my week.
But, yeah, I mean, I'm just going to -- even though I don't feel positive right now I'm definitely going to do as best I can to take positives from it, move forward, and just try to do it again next week.
Q. I know it stings, but on the plus side of things, how gratifying does this feel after that start in Singapore? I know you were pretty disappointed. To turn it around and give yourself another chance, keep knocking the door. What does that feel like to give yourself an opportunity?
ALISON LEE: Yeah, it's always fun to be in contention, play in the final round of a tournament on Sunday. It's super exciting and it's been really cool to be in the hunt more often over the last few events I played in.
So just going to try and do every thing I can and take everything I learned from this week and hopefully I can move forward and try and get the win that I so desperately want this year. It's just the start of the season which is a positive thing and so many events left to be played.
So, yeah, if I keep playing like this and if I keep putting myself in a good place and putting myself on the leaderboard, hopefully one of these weeks it'll happen.
