Q. All right, Gaby, another moving day spectacular round from you here in Thailand. What was going so right our there?
GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, it was a very solid round all around. I hit really good drives out there. Hitting it very straight, so that's for sure giving me a short club in, to spin the ball.
I think the best job that I'm doing is emotionally and mentally, which I think I'm proud of the progress I've made. The number is just a product of all the hard work, the calmness that I have inside of me.
Q. I know as we were watching on the broadcast No. 13 was something that I think you didn't realize, but it was so, so close to going in there. What was going through your mind watching that shot?
GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, to be honest, I have this belief that one ball is going to go in the hole from the fairway, and I literally stood over the ball and I thought this was it. It barely went in, but I wish could have see that.
But I'm just really, really happy with how aggressively I'm thinking over the ball with a wedge shot, that I can make it from the fairway.
I think we have so many wedge shots here, opportunities, and being able to sock it in within a good five or ten feet from the hole is nice.
Q. You were trading birdies back and forth with Lydia all day here. I know we talked about when you're playing with other people that you kind of get that motivation as well. Did you feel that throughout the round today, and were you able to check out any of the leaderboards?
GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, this is my fourth time playing with Lydia this year, and I've seen the progress I've made mentally and emotionally playing with her.
It's great. I love playing with her. She transmits a lot of calmness, presence, and, yeah, I think I just feed off that -- fed off that. Yeah, she's one of my top favorite players to play with on moving day.
Q. I know you both recently have had a string of incredible rounds, hers since her win and you are pushing it the last few events. Do you feel that, too?
GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, for sure. Me telling myself that, seeing myself playing with the top players like her is just a good indicator for me that I'm doing the right things and the right stuff.
And I'm just happy to do this. This is exactly what I work for, practice for, and I'm excited to see not only for tomorrow, but I'm excited to see what the future holds for me.
Q. Was there a number in mind coming into today that you thought to get to to be close to the top of the leaderboard?
GABY LOPEZ: Not really. I mean, I knew everyone was going to score very low today, and being able to stay as aggressive as I could, patient.
I know tomorrow is going to be the same thing. Tomorrow we are going to see very low numbers out there, so being able to score and be aggressive mentally I think that's the key.
