Q. All right, So Yeon, close it out with a birdie on the final day here. Take me through the last day.
SO YEON RYU: You know, like I shot 65 yesterday but today 64 is much, much better than yesterday 65, because even though I shot 65 yesterday I was little disappointed because my putting wasn't really working well.
Today putting was working better than yesterday, and then my iron game was really, really great. So I feel so much better to finish strong with 65, 64 finish.
Q. Between No. 5 and 15 you were able to get eight birdies in 11 holes. What was going so right in the middle of your round?
SO YEON RYU: To be honest, I missed a birdie putt on No. 1 and 3 as well, and then there was quite short one and then I really disappointed in myself. No.4 actually. Really disappointed in myself.
And then I looked at the leaderboard and girls are starting to rocket, so I was like, well, I don't think I'm going to be in contention, so let's don't freak out and do what I need to do.
Then I think from there it's everything start to rolling, so I think having a positive mindset really helpful, and then having a less feisty mindset really helpful to play better.
Q. Two solid finishes here in Asia after Singapore and now Thailand. How comfortable do you feel in your game?
SO YEON RYU: You know, like I think I told you that in Hawaii I feel like I didn't really have like self-confident that much. I doubted a lot. I wasn't sure am I ready to play well, am I still good golfer. Like I just having a lot of question about it.
But having good finish for three events since L.A. definitely give me a lot of confidence, and then I think now I have a believe in like, you know, ready to win some major. Like I really looking forward to playing some of the stretches after these Asian events.
Q. What is your schedule looking like? We have the week off next week. When will we see you next, and will it be before the U.S. Women's Open?
SO YEON RYU: My first appearance going to be Las Vegas I was thinking, because especially I played four in a row. And then to me, like I really needed to have more than a week off, so I decided to have two weeks off, so I little disappointed I cannot be in the Kingsmill because Kingsmill is definitely one of my favorite stop.
I'm just going to regroup, and that I learn a lot through the four events, so I'm going to working on something with my coach and hopefully I can play even better for the next stretch.
Q. You said also a little bit before that you're ready to win another major championship.
SO YEON RYU: Yeah.
Q. Is that the mindset as you prepare for the U.S. Women's Open?
SO YEON RYU: Yeah, I'm always really enjoy to play like challenging tournament I want to say. So for that I definitely need to prepare hard, so that's why I want to have two week off. I just want to be fully ready to play the majors, and hopefully I can have another major win under my belt.
