Quick Quotes

Q. You've survived your first spring Asia swing. Two weeks of the heat. How are you feeling?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Today was actually pretty good. I think it was nice and overcast. I think I probably built it up in my head to be a bit worse than it actually was. I've done some hot baths and sauna work before I left, and pretty thankful I did that.

I mean, it was hot. Don't get me wrong. We're not used to kind of weather. Felt like I managed it pretty okay.

My game is in really good shape. Felt like I played really, really good golf tee to green this week. Didn't hole any putts at all the first three days; holed a few today, which was nice.

So overall my game is in good shape heading out here.

Q. You only had the one bogey and the one double bogey yesterday.

LEONA MAGUIRE: Uh-huh.

Q. So overall pretty clean scorecards.

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, I think that was because I was hitting my iron shots -- my approach shots were really good all week. Gave myself a lot, a lot of chances and it was quite frustrating trying to stay patient.

But it's nice. This was -- any time you finish off a tournament or a swing with your best round it's always good.

Q. What's the plan now? Going back to the states? Back it Ireland?

LEONA MAGUIRE: I'm home for two days. So I have tonight, early morning, home for a couple nights, and then back to Orlando for a little tune up and then west coast.

Q. All right. So next event, will it be Carlsbad?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah.

Q. Or Chevron?

LEONA MAGUIRE: No, Carlsbad and back to Kia, those two. I'm doing everything until -- this side of U.S. Open and just keep going, ride the momentum.

Q. Will you put the clubs down for the two days at home at all?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Going to see my coach on Tuesday, so probably take it easy on Monday. I don't get to go home that often, so my coach is based back in Dublin, so any time I get to home it's kind of something to work on.

I mean, game doesn't need an awful a lot of work. Just kind of a fine tuning and checkup, few home cooked meals and sleep in my own bed and be good to go again.

Q. What's you're favorite home cooked meal from mom?

LEONA MAGUIRE: I mean, I get back on Monday, but I think Sunday dinner will be delayed. Usually is, so going to go with like a roast chicken dinner or...

Q. So is it roast or roast chicken?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Roast chicken, chicken or Turkey. Beef is fine either, but probably going to be like chicken stuffing, roast potatoes, vegetables, all that.
