Q. Here with Yuka Saso. Nice little 5-under 67.
YUKA SASO: Thank you.
Q. Got on a tear there: three birdies in a row, 5, 6, 7; two birdies, 9 and 10. What was going through your head out there?
YUKA SASO: Hit a pretty good tee shot and very consistent second shots whole day, so I was able to give myself a chance for birdie quite a few times and made the putts.
Yeah, pretty good day.
Q. What do you like so much about it golf course?
YUKA SASO: The weather. (Smiling.)
Q. Nothing wrong with that.
YUKA SASO: Yeah. And, well, I've been here for two years now, and every year -- last year and this year they have very nice greens, very fast. Just a good challenge. Just like the layout.
Q. It's a little bit firmer this year. Obviously we had some weather last year. How much different is this golf course playing between last year and this year?
YUKA SASO: That I was able to clean my ball last year and this year I don't. I think that make the big difference. The golf course is beautiful and it's just in a great condition.
Q. Obviously got started at the Hilton Grand Vacations. What are some of your goals for this season?
YUKA SASO: Stay healthy until the end of the season. I think that will be my main priority.
You know, hopefully to do what I have to do every week and give myself a chance. Yeah, just staying healthy.
Q. I know you became a Rolex first-time winner at the U.S. Open a couple years ago. How have you managed your expectations? I know that's a lot to do all at once and a lot of pressure. How have you kept yourself in check and know a second one is coming?
YUKA SASO: Actually don't know. I just enjoyed every moment. You know, I can only experience that once in my life, so I experienced that. And there is ups and downs, and I just accept it and just keep working and do what I have to do.
Yeah, just trust the process.
