Q. Here with Jenny Shin. I know pretty good front nine today. I know it was a little bit more challenging on the back nine. Just walk me through your round.
JENNY SHIN: Yeah, front nine, bunch of birdie opportunities, and, you know, when I saw them I made them. On the back nine I kept lipping out, kept just skimming around the hole. I feel like it was quite unlucky in certain instances.
So hopefully I'm just saving it up for the weekend. Not too far off from the leader, so pretty hopeful about that. Overall my shots are pretty good. I was keeping it in the fairway except for the last hole, a lot of greens.
Q. How were able to stay patient on the back nine when things weren't dropping that were dropping on the front nine?
JENNY SHIN: You know, I didn't have too many struggles. I wasn't hitting it everywhere. I wasn't getting up and down. I was just hitting it on the green and two-putting. So it wasn't that difficult to like stay in.
Q. Off to an obvious really good start yesterday, but to continue it today, what does that tell about where your game is in?
JENNY SHIN: I mean, considering how frustrating it was, I'm pretty happy with where I am. I still have two more days. There will be a lot more birdie opportunities coming, so I'm excited for the weekend.
