Q. Here with Anna Nordqvist. Another solid day here at Honda LPGA Thailand. Got off to a pretty good start on the front nine; kind of faded a little bit on the back nine. How did you stay patient today?
ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, it was windy. I didn't get off to the best start with a bogey on the first, but I fought back with a couple close shots and good birdies.
Felt like I hit a lot of good shots on the back nine. Sometimes just released a little bit more than expected. Hit a good putt on 14, good putt on 18, and none of them went in.
Overall, feel like it was a really solid day, especially with a little bit more wind today.
Q. Looked like you had a couple birdies back-to-back there. Just that stretch of holes, what was going on?
ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, on I think on both 3 and 4 I hit it to maybe seven feet, so that was good shots.
Then I hit it to a foot on 6.
Then a good bunker shot to probably five or six feet on 7.
So, just a lot of like steady shots. Felt like I hit my driver good. Couple just kicked in the rough, not-so-great lies.
Overall, feel like I managed it well today.
Q. You told me yesterday you switched out iron shafts. That seems to have made a difference. Do you feel like it really is affecting how you're playing right now?
ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, I feel like I played last week and I hit it solid; was very windy. I feel like my focus maybe gets a little bit better when the wind picks up a little bit.
But, overall, I mean, I feel like it's been solid shots, so the wind wouldn't really affect the shots too much when you're hitting it solid.
Q. I know there is 18 holes left, plenty of birdies still to be made. Nine wins. If tomorrow were to work out, you would be at 10, only the third Swede to ever reach double digits. What would that mean to join Liselotte and Annika?
ANNA NORDQVIST: I haven't really thought much further than trying to get some food now after the round. I'm proud of myself this week. Was pretty tired coming into this week, so battled good.
Any time you come in Sunday in one of the final groups it's quite a great atmosphere. We were playing behind Jeeno today and you can hear the roar on ever other hole.
But it's been nice to see a lot of Swedes out. I've had a lot of support on the golf course cheering me on, so that really has made my week.
Q. Were you surprised to see some Swedes out here?
ANNA NORDQVIST: No. I know there are a lot of Swedes going now to Thailand for the winter, trying to escape the snow and the cold weather.
But last couple years it's been COVID so haven't seen as many, so it's just really nice to see them. They've been really cheering me on and first pumping me when I made birdies, so it's been really awesome.
