Q. Well, you played really, really well today. Went bogey-free. Made an eagle on your very first hole, and a lot of birdies. Tell me how your round went.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Really good today. Perfect. Except tee shot first nine hole.
Q. What was wrong with your tee shots on the first nine? You seemed to recover pretty well.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yes. It goes like draw, fade a lot, so, it's went in rough. Yeah.
Q. Made eagle on your very first hole today. Tell me about that shot that you may have hit or how that hole went.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: So first shot I went right of fairway. Yeah, second shot is 100 -- no -- yeah, something, so I use 8-iron. It goes straight to the right.
Yeah, bounce on the green and run to the left.
Q. How long was the...
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: About four yards from hole.
Q. What did you think when that putt went in for eagle?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I saw Celine. She putting first, yeah, so I saw the line. So I know how can I putt, yeah, how to keep the line.
Q. So it was a really exciting start. How did you stay calm as you played the rest of your round?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yeah, really fun. Yeah.
Q. What was it like? Crowds were really big today. What was it like playing in front of such large crowds? I know you said yesterday was big, but today I think was bigger.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yes, today was very big, but I thought tomorrow will bigger than today.
Q. You and Atthaya tomorrow, you and Jeeno will be playing together. How excited are you for that grouping and those crowds? Like you said, probably going to be even bigger.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yeah, because of that I think it's bigger and bigger than I thought.
Q. How excited are you to play with her?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Really, just really excited.
Q. So she had a pretty good season last year. Did that motivate you this year do you think, or just worried about yourself?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I'm just think of myself, yeah, only, yeah.
Q. Playing with a pretty big lead tomorrow. I know you're a rookie. Obviously be your first LPGA win. How exciting would that be?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I don't know how to explain, but really, yeah.
Q. Is that something that you dreamed about since you were little?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yes.
Q. Why would it mean so much to you, do you know?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I don't know.
Q. Just be excited to win?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yes, really. I can't wait.
Q. Your performance today as the leader. Are you excited or have pressure to have a chance to win the title on your home soil?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I’m excited. Having pressure? Yes. I will take that as something to fight against in the game. For today's game, it was as planned.
Q. You will be in the same group with your close friend tomorrow. How do you feel about it? Both get a chance to win too.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Good to play with a friend. I haven’t played with her for a long time. It will be my second day with her. Glad to be together again.
Q. You said you played as planned. Can you tell us what your plan was?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I did as best as I could do.
Q. This is your first time at LPGA, and you get a chance to win. Do you think it’s beyond what you expected
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: It’s not beyond my plan but a little bit beyond my expectation.
Q. From your previous experience, would you use it to handle your game tomorrow?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: Yes, I’ve learned from previous experience. Try to be me as much as possible.
Q. Other competitors have more experience than you. What do you think about this point?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I observe their techniques and adapt them to be mine.
Q. Big fans cheer you up. Would this make you gain more confidence or pressure?
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I feel good to have fans cheering me up.
Q. More people are coming to see you tomorrow.
NATTHAKRITTA VONGTAVEELAP: I try to be myself, be with the game, and I think I can make it.
