Q: Here with Celine Boutier. You played pretty solid out there. Had a nice little recovery there on the last. Made a few birdies. Just evaluate that round.
CELINE BOUTIER: It was very solid from start to finish. Definitely had a lot of opportunities. You know, I feel like I hit a lot of greens which was very positive. Yeah, very happy with my round today.
Q: What's been the key for you this week? Has it been more ball-striking or putting?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think my ball-striking has been better this week. I definitely feel a bit more confidence off the tee so that definitely helps.
Q: I know the wind was a little gusty out there today. How did you adjust?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, it was a little tricky because I feel like with the trees and stuff sometimes we didn’t feel it as much. It was swirling around a little bit so definitely got fooled a few times at the beginning. I think the key thing is like once you make a decision you just gotta fully go for it and commit to it. So, yeah, I think tomorrow is supposed to be windy as well so it’s going to be another pretty good challenge.
Q: What’s it like for you playing in front of these crowds? What has is it been like for you? I know you have some Thai heritage and I've seen a lot of Europeans. I don't know if you got any French fans out this week?
CELINE BOUTIER: “Yeah, I've actually seen the quite a few French people supporting me so it's been really fun to play in front of a crowd again. Like I said like last year and the past few years we haven't really had anybody because of the COVID. But, seeing the crowds here ¬-- you know it's always pretty big here which makes us feel pretty good and pretty appreciative of the fans.
Q: Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day with Atthaya and Natthakritta who are both at the top of the leaderboard along with yourself. How do you keep calm in those situations when there are crowds that may not be cheering for you always?
CELINE BOUTIER: “yeah I think just have to focus on your own game and just doing your thing. I feel like -- I'm kind of used to not having the crowd on my side because I feel like we only have one tournament in France all year. So, yeah, I'm just trying not to think about it too much and just focus on my game.
Q: Finally, I know you were in the final group a of handful of times last year. Anything you took away from those instances that you'll apply to tomorrow?
CELINE BOUTIER: “Yeah, I think I tend to tense up a little bit on the final rounds because I feel like I wanna do too well. So, I feel like hopefully I can just relax a little bit more tomorrow and just have confidence in my game.”
