Q. Patty Tavatanakit, you are the Honda LPGA Thailand champion. You must be incredibly proud of yourself for the way you managed yourself today, especially on this back nine in front of these amazing fans.
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Yeah, I'm honestly speechless right now. I was so nervous today. I don't know if I showed it a little bit, but playing in front of the fans, I mean, everyone came out and they supported me; it gave me a little bit of an extra boost.
I've been eating a lot on the front nine just so I have plenty of energy on the back so I'm really proud of the way I hung in there on the back nine.
Q. Let's talk about the back nine. At one point today you had a five-shot lead and between 15 and 16 it was a rollercoaster.
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I hit good shots. I hit good putts. It just didn't go in. Some days golf is like that. I just got accept the fact that not every day is going to be an easy day. Not every day putts going to go in.
The mindset was embrace adversity and I did today.
Q. I feel that we're looking at a very different Patty Tavatanakit. What's it like to live in your shoes right now?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It's been a dream come true winning last week in Saudi and again this week in my home country. It's a dream come true to win here. I was outside the ropes at one point in my life and now I'm inside, get to play with all these amazing girls. They're the best in the world. To be able to close it is pretty surreal right now.
