Q. Angel, let me have a word with you. That was an amazing final day. You started the day with a five-shot lead. How comfortable were you coming in to this final round?
ANGEL YIN: I'll be honest, I wasn't that comfortable because Akie shot 10-under the first day and this course is very gettable. I was playing with Jeeno. Last time I played with Jeeno she beat me at CME. I know the competition is tight, especially the group in front with Moriya playing well and everyone else.
So I just had to keep my head down. She was playing lights out, 11-under with a bogey, so it's really incredible to see.
Q. Did your strategy change as the day went on, as it got closer around the middle the round?
ANGEL YIN: No. I stuck to my strategy book and didn't really budge. I kind of knew I just had to do that, because there was nothing else. If I was beat, then I was beat. It wasn't like -- you know, I don't need to change my strategy up because that was the best strategy going in because it brought me where I was today.
Q. If there was one moment, shot, hole that was a game changer for you, what would it be?
ANGEL YIN: Probably 17. I hit it tight and then Akie went long, and then I was like, okay, well, she could make a brilliant up-and-down and I needed to make my birdie. She almost did pull off that brilliant up-and-down but I got lucky.
Then coming into 18, it's the most amazing thing you can see and the hardest pin on the golf course, and everybody was on from 200-plus out and she made eagle.
Q. A year ago you were sidelined with injury. Now you get your second LPGA win. You're playing very well over the last six months. How have you changed as a player in this time frame?
ANGEL YIN: I think mindset is a bit different. I think I'm a bit more relaxed. But nothing much really. I just been trying to play golf and improve as a golfer and a person. I think it's helping with every thing.
