Q. Okay, here with Gianna after all four rounds of the Honda LPGA Thailand. Just first off, first week here in Asia. Talk about what it was like to play here this week.
GIANNA CLEMENTE: Yeah, I mean, just such a different experience for me and my dad. We've had so much fun. The resort is so beautiful and just the entire week, all the fans and the people here are so kind and so supportive.
So, yeah, just been so fun for us to experience something new.
Q. Just talk about receiving the sponsor invite, what your initial thoughts were, and just how excited you were to receive it.
GIANNA CLEMENTE: Yeah, they reached out to me and I was just super excited when I saw that email. I was at a different tournament actually and I just got done with my round and I saw that in my inbox. Yeah, I was so excited.
Me and my dad read it together and we were immediately like, oh, yeah, we're going. So, yeah, it's just been a great.
Q. And it's been a huge advantage for you to be here this week and realize the travel and everything it takes for players coming to play in Asia. Is there anything that kind of stuck out to you this week with that? I know you don't leave until tomorrow, but still.
GIANNA CLEMENTE: Yeah, it's been a long trip for sure. All of the morning tee times, it's definitely a bit tiring.
But any experience on the LPGA is great for me, and even though it may be a couple early alarms this week it was still fun. I think I learned a lot about my game, and just playing with these players, it's a great experience.
Q. I was going to ask about that next, the golf, too. What did you see in your game this week that you've been working on that stuck out?
GIANNA CLEMENTE: I think my distance is really improved. I worked really hard on it. I'm very tiny and I'm not going to be like the longest player ever, but I worked really hard on it the past couple months, especially in the offseason, so it's been really good for me just to kind of balance my game with theirs and see how much I've improved.
Yeah, it was pretty good this week.
Q. First event that we've had amateurs in the field with the new Elite program. You have one point right now in the standings and looks like you might get another point for top 40 and ties. Just what does that mean? How important is the program, especially for your future?
GIANNA CLEMENTE: Yeah, it's super important I think for not just my own, but for all the girls coming up behind me as well. I think it's going to be great for amateurs in golf and it's going to give us a little bit of an advantage.
So, yeah, I think it's definitely -- it's necessary for us. I think it's really good progress for amateurs. And, yeah, I hopefully get another point this week. We'll see how it plays out.
Q. Just looking ahead, you have a long travel day coming up, but what is on your schedule next?
GIANNA CLEMENTE: I got a couple weeks off, which I'm looking forward to after this long trip. But I have the Sage Valley Junior Invitational next and Augusta right after that, so it's an exciting couple weeks.
