Q. Here with Nelly Korda after her quarterfinal round to the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards. Just talk about the match today. Back and forth against Angel Yin, but ended up with a 3&2 win.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, the weather was very chilly and windy. I don't think that was actually forecasted for today, so started off playing in really tough conditions but played really well.
Made a birdie on No. 2 and then made a little bit of -- other than that, I made one silly mistake and I was pretty solid all day.
No. 14 and I just don't get along. If I hit the green and fairway I'm going to fist pump on that hole today.
But, yeah, overall just played really solid.
Q. Any changes in strategy as you played match play today compared to stroke play? Any different way you attack some of the holes?
NELLY KORDA: Maybe a little bit more aggressive. The wind was completely different today, so I did hit a couple more drivers than I normally would.
Overall, pars go a long way out here, especially in the tough conditions, so just playing my game.
Q. Just under a week here at Shadow Creek, how comfortable are you starting to feel on this very, very difficult course?
NELLY KORDA: I feel like it's throwing different things at us every single day. I mean, the first few days were really nice, then you had severe wind yesterday, and then today it was really chilly and wind.
So you try to get comfortable, but Mother Nature sometimes throws a curve ball at you. Just going to try and stay in my own little bubble and trod ahead.
