Q. Here with Ina after her first round here at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards. Just take us through the round today. Really good 5&3 win for you. What was working so well?
INA YOON: Thank you. Mi Hyang and I play really well. I'm very thankful to play well today, and also I want to say thank you to Mi Hyang. Yeah, she was really nice. Yeah.
It was very cold this morning so I have to wear all the clothes I have. Now it's warm so I like this weather now. (Smiling.)
Q. Playing a difficult course like Shadow Creek, what have you made of it? Is this a course that you enjoy playing? How does it bring out some of your strengths?
INA YOON: Actually I really love this course because I haven't played this much hard course before in Korea somewhere, everywhere. So very excited to play this course.
And, you know, I came here because of the sponsor invite, and I'm so thank you for them. I was try to make good chip shot for make good up and down, and today was really good.
Yeah, we tried to make good approach shot with my coach, James. He gave me good lessons and it works today.
Q. You led immediately from the first hole and never trailed afterwards. What is going through your mind when you're building a lead and then trying to maintain a lead in match play?
INA YOON: I was try to focus on my golf, not the compete with others. Me and Michael is my caddie, we were just play fun. Yeah, we are talking about just fun golf and we having a fun time.
Q. This being your rookie season on the LPGA Tour, how has it been now that we're a few events into the season? Are you starting to feel more comfortable out here?
INA YOON: Yeah, actually, yes. And I'm not afraid of other player. I think I'm not afraid about the golf, and that my goal is try make a good golf, improve my golf, and make a good shot one by one.
Yeah, my goal is improving my golf, so, yeah, it's working. I'm working on it.
