Q. Alongside Hira Naveed who took down No. 3 in the world, Lydia Ko. Understand it was your first time playing with her. What was the whole experience like for you?
HIRA NAVEED: Unbelievable. I mean, getting in last minute I wasn't even supposed to play. I was first alternate going into Monday and we got the call in Arizona that we're in, so really excited.
Yeah, playing against a Hall of Famer as always you know you've got a task on hand. She's such a remarkable human being and golfer, and so, yeah, I knew I had to bring out my A-game. Glad I did.
Q. What was the key to getting it done today? Beyond just the A-game, was there a specific shot or sequence of holes that made the difference?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, I think we were pretty neck to neck that front nine. Then just got some birdies going in the last couple holes going into the back nine. Just hit some great shots, tied, and made some putts. That was kind of it.
