JANE PARK: I forgot what the yardage was. Might have been like 152, 151, or something like that. (Actual 148.)
Q. Okay. I can check on that. What was it like? Did anybody see it go in? Any applause? Anything happen?
JANE PARK: Yeah, so I got applause. I hit the shot and I hit it exactly where I wanted to, and once I saw it hit the green I kind of turned away and started walking back towards my bag.
And then I heard a kind of an eruption of applause by the green. I guess there were a few volunteers and my cousin is here watching. Yeah, heard a little applause and then -- I don't know who it was, it was either Katie or Bianca, one of my playing partners, they said, You holed out.
Yeah, I got chills. I started jumping up and down. I high fived everyone. Yeah, this is my first hole in one in competition ever, so it's been 14 years on tour and I finally got one.
Q. That's kind of like a relief.
JANE PARK: Yeah, for sure. I mean, obviously you're not like -- I mean, you're trying to hit it close to the hole, but you're not exactly trying to get a hole-in-one.
But, yeah, it was -- I would say it's one of the better shots I hit in my career.
Q. I heard they always say a hole-in-one is like a skillful accident.
JANE PARK: Exactly, exactly. I would say that is very true most of the time, but this time I actually hit the perfect shot.
Q. There we go.
JANE PARK: The people by the green said it rolled in just like a putt.
Q. Nice.
JANE PARK: Yeah.
Q. That's awesome. Last one for you: Obviously I'm sure you're aware, CME Group donates $20,000 for each hole-in-one out here. With a minimum guaranteed donation of $500,000 to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in a year.
JANE PARK: Yeah.
Q. What's it like when you can use your skillset to provide to those in need like that?
JANE PARK: Did you say $20,000?
Q. Yeah, so CME Group will donate $20,000 for your hole-in-one, yep.
JANE PARK: Wow, well it's as absolute honor to help this the cause, and obviously having a little baby girl myself I sympathize with all those parents suffering with sick kids.
But, yeah, it's an honor. I'm just so happy that I can be a part of that. Yeah. It's awesome.
Q. I'll let you go spend time with the little one. Is she here?
JANE PARK: Yeah, she's here. And congratulations on getting married.
