Q. Wei-Ling, awesome performance. 6-under 65 on moving day to continue to set the pace here at the Pure Silk Championship. Let's start with the five straight birdies between numbers 3 and 7. What is going on through your mind on that heater?
WEI-LING HSU: I mean, we only have three par-5 in the course, so my goal this week is try to hit as many birdie par-5.
So starting on No. 3, yeah, just I think today little drier than past two days, so I think everything just went little further, so I was able to get really close to the green on second shot.
So, yeah, I don't really think about this much. Just try to hit every single shot the place I want to be. And the iron performance those couple hole are really good. Just I put a lot of ball like right next to the pin, and, yeah, the putting definitely help a little bit.
Q. Could you tell it was going to be a special day when you put this run together, even though it was early?
WEI-LING HSU: Not really, because I'm two shot behind. So I know -- I'm trying to making more birdie as I can and try -- if I can catch up for the leader.
Q. Speaking of catching up, when we talked to you earlier in the week you were exhausted. Just could barely speak you were so tired.
WEI-LING HSU: Yes.
Q. What have you done since then to now to kind of catch up and get at yourself?
WEI-LING HSU: Definitely sleep. (Laughter.) Yeah, I definitely sleep a little bit more compare the tournament before. Usually I only slept maybe eight hour, but this couple day I slept like nine hour.
Q. And do you feel different now? Does this round feel much different than the round when you were exhausted?
WEI-LING HSU: Not much different, but I didn't play that great yesterday. I didn't end up the score that I really want to, so I kind of take it from that.
You know, I was little nervous in the front nine, and so I try to learn from that and see if I can do better today.
Q. You're tied for the lead right now. Obviously Moriya has one more hole to play. Just to be in this position, you anticipate more excitement or nerves tomorrow?
WEI-LING HSU: Definitely a little nervous and a little exciting, but also the COVID pandemic in Taiwan just -- we got so many new case right now, so people are really nervous and the whole country almost shut down.
So it's very happy that -- my performance on first round and just to show all my friend and family the good news. I don't know what I going to end up today, but hopefully I going to have even better performance tomorrow and hopefully I can share this good news to my family and the people in Taiwan.
Q. Is that something that you're going to take into tomorrow and really do your best to make them proud?
WEI-LING HSU: Yeah, definitely. And, you know, I think -- because all the sport in Taiwan, they all shut down, so I think this is a good time to show them the skill and the performance.
