Q. Second straight 5-under par 66. You are the leader in the clubhouse right now at 10-under par. Masterful bogey-free performance today. How did you do it?
MATILDA CASTREN: I hit a lot of greens. I think so. I haven't counted how many, but I was putting a lot today and when I missed a green I was just barely on the fringe. And on 18 I missed it long a little bit, but I managed to save par.
But I hit my irons really well and gave myself a lot of opportunities and I putted well.
Q. 11 fairways, 14 greens, so I would say that's a lot. How much more challenging was the course today, maybe some longer clubs in versus yesterday?
MATILDA CASTREN: Yeah, definitely longer clubs. Couple holes instead of 3-wood I was hitting driver. The ball wasn't running out as it was yesterday. Yeah, a little longer today, but the greens are a little bit softer, because of the rain, so that also plays a little bit of an advantage.
Q. How did you spend the six hours this morning?
MATILDA CASTREN: I was here all day waiting every 30 minutes for a new update and refreshing the weather app. I spent some time with the other players and caddies and ate food all morning pretty much. (Laughing).
Q. That's never a bad thing.
MATILDA CASTREN: Yeah, it was nice.
Q. When you won a few weeks ago in San Francisco you kind of came from behind in the second and third rounds to vault yourself up the leaderboard and give yourself a good position to with that great performance on Sunday. You put yourself out front here, do you feel things are a little different as you chase another win versus when you first won?
MATILDA CASTREN: Well, there's a lot of golf left to play and not everyone has even finished the second round. So I'm really happy where I'm at right now. I don't think it's going to hold for tomorrow for the third round, but I'm really happy where my game is going and how I'm playing right now.
Q. Would you say that you have a little bit of an advantage that you got done with your second round today and you can just go sleep on just playing the weekend?
MATILDA CASTREN: Yeah, it's nice. I have a little bit more rest compared to the girls that have to wake up really early tomorrow. So I can just sleep in tomorrow and have a nice breakfast and just chill out before the afternoon.
