Q. 32 holes of golf later, Stacy Lewis, you're just a couple strokes off the lead. Today was a marathon.
STACY LEWIS: Yeah.
Q. Tell us how you survived yesterday's rain delay and today's craziness.
STACY LEWIS: Yesterday was obviously fine. Just laid around and did nothing all day until about 7:30 at night and played four holes. Turned around in less than 12 hours and do it all over again.
I'm tired. Today was so long. It was exhausting. Early this morning it played really hard I thought with the wind coming back out. I think you saw the cut line moved just purely because of that.
So it wasn't one of those easy days of golf either. Just really tiring, and glad to be done.
Q. I was going to ask you about that wind. Angela said the easterly wind, which is the hardest to deal with out here. You're from Texas. You know what it's like to play in the wind. How does that mess with your mind when you know the challenge out there in front of you?
STACY LEWIS: Yeah, this golf course I feel like one swing you can make a double pretty quick, so it's like you have to be kind of on for every shot. Can't take one off.
And I think that east wind is a lot of left to right wind I feel like, which whether you like that or not. But just No. 1 plays really hard. There is just couple holes that just play really hard with that wind.
And so I hadn't even looked at what tomorrow is going to be. Hadn't got to that point yet. If it's more of the same it's probably good to be a few back and post a number.
Q. Well, you're going to be out there charging from a couple strokes behind tomorrow most likely. We've got fans out here again. Angela was talking about how great it is to have them back there. Does it mean a lot to you to have the fans back now? You won once at Los Colinas, to try and get one here at Old American?
STACY LEWIS: Yeah, it is. Just see the kids back out, that's the best part. I had a little girl bring up a picture from a couple years ago and had me sign it.
So it's just nice to have the energy back, have things going on at the golf tournament. This week we've had -- they did the run, fireworks, and I think they have a concert going on tonight.
So it's nice to have things going on again and not just feel like we're out here in our own little world trying to play golf. It's been a fun week so far.
Q. The bubble has kept us safe, but we're ready to pop the bubble, right?
STACY LEWIS: Yeah, I think we're all ready to be outside and have some fun.
