Q. Here with Celine Boutier. In familiar territory, two back, one day left. Played really solid today: 5-under, 66. Just talking to Colin, made some adjustments off the tee today. How did those help?
CELINE BOUTIER: Not sure what he's referring to I guess. Feel like the course was playing good. I feel like I had some good opportunities. They put some of the holes in very -- not easy, but like you could get pretty aggressive, and I feel like I did get myself into a lot of birdie positions today, which was very positive.
Yeah, I feel like very satisfied with my round.
Q. I guess what he meant by that, hit a few less in the rough. I know the rough has been pretty challenging.
CELINE BOUTIER: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Definitely yesterday I had a few approach shots on the rough and was just hard to measure or guess how the carry would be affected.
So, yeah, today definitely I had to put a premium on reaching the fairways.
Q. Two birdies in your first three holes. Got off to a pretty hot start. Cooled a little bit on the back, but just walk me through that front nine.
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, definitely had short putt on 1 to start off with a birdie, and then made a really long putt on No. 3 for second birdie.
So I just definitely had very solid start.
I just honestly just took advantage of the opportunities that I had. I feel like I played very solid. I definitely missed some out there, but I just feel like because my long game was so solid, I just trusted myself that I would make some at some point.
So I just, you know, had to trust myself.
Q. Kind of like I said, kind of cooled there; five pars in a row, and then made two birdies in the last four, including the birdie on the 18th, which has to feel like you got a shot on the field on that hole.
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, definitely. I feel like the last few finishing holes I definitely have some birdie opportunities there, so it definitely feels nice to be able to finish off with a birdie.
Q. Chasing the first win of the year. Been in this position quite a few times, couple back heading into Sunday. What's the mindset you're going to have going forward at a place you know you can kind of attack a little bit?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I'm honestly just going to try to do the same that I did today. I feel like if my game is the same and I put myself out there, I feel like I have a chance.
But I just got to make sure that I reach the fairways and just put myself in good positions.
Q. How were you able to keep the ball in the fairway today? Better lines off the tee or...
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, just like club adjustments a little bit. I feel like I hit it a little bit better today, too. But I feel like some of the mistakes that I made yesterday kind of helped me to stay more cautious on the tee and definitely choose the club with the higher percentage.
Q. Another opportunity tomorrow. How excited are you to be once again in this position? I know the season is wrapping up. We're heading to the CME, a place you play really well at. Your game has to feel good right now?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I'm playing well. I feel like I'm honestly not trying to get too excited or anxious about it. I just got to do my job again tomorrow and see what happens really.
