Q. So glad I got a chance to speak to you again today. It's been six years. Has that six years been a long hard wait for you?

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, it has. Come close a few times since, but put in some good work this year. Actually sat down with my coach a few weeks ago and said, this is what we need to work on to get back in the winner's circle.

We done it, so thanks, Matt.

Q. Well, it has definitely been proven to that point. Extra work and that extra effort we will be talking about we can see within you. Do you think this will spur you on to great greater and bigger things?

CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, definitely. I thing my game was there, it was just my confidence. I'm now confident. Yeah, feel really good. Feel felt like I was in control of my round, especially coming in. I could have made more birdies and hit good putts and just rolled over the edge.

I feel very proud of myself.

Q. Xiyu Lin and Lydia Ko were putting pressure on at the end. How proud are you of the way you responded?

CHARLEY HULL: It was funny, I found it exciting. When Janet made eagle on 17, like I kind of enjoyed that. It made me want to birdie the last.

I hit a good putt I missed but it was great fun.

Q. Well, many congratulations. Go and enjoy this celebration.

CHARLEY HULL: Thanks, won't be doing much celebration tonight. I'm seeing my mates out there so hopefully we'll have a few.
