Q. All right, here with Lexi Thompson after your final round. Overall this week, how happy are you with this result and just your game this week in general?
LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, overall very happy. I've been working extremely hard on my game and to see to pay off in these last few weeks, starting at Solheim Cup there, just to see the improvements, that's all I've needed. Definitely taking in into the following events of the year. Nothing but positives to take from it.
Q. Heading into next week, your PGA TOUR start, what are those aspects of your game that you're going to hope to take into next week?
LEXI THOMPSON: Everything really. My ball striking, I'll definitely need my top game going into next week. Get that driver more in tune. Didn't hit it too much on this golf course, but I'm going to need it I'm sure there.
So it will really be all down to ball striking and making those putts when I need it out there.
Q. And last question about Kathy Whitworth. It's the new Kathy Whitworth Trophy. I don't know if you knew, but the pin position on 18 was 8 and 8 for Kathy.
LEXI THOMPSON: Oh, okay. I love that.
Q. So just want to know your thoughts on this event and her being such a monument on the LPGA Tour and for this event in general?
LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, that's very special. Kathy Whitworth, I played in her event as a junior and got to know her pretty well over the years. She was just such a special lady, not only for the game, she was a huge inspiration, what she's done for it and the impact that she's made on the game and grew it.
But she was always such a nice lady. Every time I saw her she had a smile on her face and something nice and positive to say. She's made an impact on the game. That's what we're all striving to do.
