Q. All right, here with Lindsey Weaver Wright as she's about to head to maternity leave. Obviously got to talk about the chip-in. Just walk us through that.
LINDSEY WEAVER WRIGHT: Yeah, I had 137 on the last and just hoping it would get on the green. Came up short at first and went in. Honestly it was unbelievable. Just so surreal to end my season like that and start maternity leave.
Q. You played your last LPGA event before the baby. How special was it to do it on your home course?
LINDSEY WEAVER WRIGHT: It was great honestly. Like it couldn't have come at better time. I love this place. I mean, at times it's a love-hate. It's a tough golf course and can chew up and spit you out. It was a great week, and I'm really happy to be ending here.
Means a little bit more, yeah.
Q. Will you be doing anything golf-related the next couple weeks or full-on mom mode?
LINDSEY WEAVER WRIGHT: Probably not much golf-related stuff going to be going on for the next couple months. Maybe here and there, like recreationally with friends for fun.
But, yeah, no. I'll be at home with my dogs, enjoying my time off.
Q. What are you doing to get ready for the baby? Do you feel prepared?
LINDSEY WEAVER WRIGHT: Yeah. I'm a big preparer myself, so nursery has been done for a while. Baby shower next weekend in Phoenix that our friends are giving us.
My mom is coming at the end the Monday to make sure everything is in order and I have everything I need. She'll be back out here as well once I go into labor and help me through that whole process.
A lot for my husband to handle, so I'm hoping she'll take the reins and help us out for the first couple weeks. Yeah, and then holidays, going back home for the holiday, for Thanksgiving, and then month of December will be at home.
