Q. Another top 20 finish on the LPGA. What did you prove to yourself over the last couple weeks?
LUCY LI: Yeah, you know, I played some really solid golf the last couple weeks. Nothing really too special. Probably had a couple of unforced errors here and there, but definitely big confidence booster going into the rest of the season being able to come out here and be pretty competitive.
Q. What did the last two weeks mean to you being a Northern California native?
LUCY LI: I was so excited to play these two weeks at home. I get to stay at home and sleep in my own bed and have a lot of local support, so it was really nice to be able to compete here. It was something that I was really looking forward to, and didn't disappoint.
Q. Coming off a major you shoot four rounds under par at -- wasn't Olympic Club, but still a tough track, Lake Merced. How did you do first of all, and specifically today, what stood out in the under-par round?
LUCY LI: I feel like I played just solid golf all four days. I feel like I could have played a little better. You know, hit a couple of weird shots today, 18 and 5. I feel like I didn't really take advantage of the par-5s as much as I usually do.
So that's something -- I mean, I feel like that was more of like an off thing. I feel like I could have done a little better there. Other than that, I hit it solid and putted solid. Everything feels good.
Q. A lot of people who are die-hard golf fans especially probably look to the group like you guys, you Patty, Yealimi, and that's a trio that's kind of a future face of this game. How fun was it to play with them today?
LUCY LI: Yeah, for sure. I have actually known them for a really long time. We kind of played junior golf together, so it was good to play with them again. I used to play with Patty quite a bit in the AJGAs but I hadn't in a really long time. It was nice to get to play with her again.
Yeah, it was just really fun round.
Q. Couple more for you. Just looking ahead for the rest of the year, what are some goals you have for the rest of the year on Symetra Tour and hopefully not Q-School, but possibly Q-School?
LUCY LI: Just kind of do the same things I been doing. I think especially mentally the last two weeks have been really good. I just got to keep that same mentality going forward. If I can finish this well in a major and an LPGA tournament, then I should have a pretty good shot at some Symetra Tour events.
