Q. You left yourself a tall mountain today, but pretty much did a nice job climbing it.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah. Didn't play too bad. Just tough week.
Q. Yeah. You got off to the start you needed really though, right, come out quick?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, uh-huh.
Q. What was going really well at the start?
NELLY KORDA: I was just making long putts. Chipped in on No. 2. Made a long putt on 1. Made a long putt on 3. Three-putted on 8. Completely slid my momentum down.
Q. Since yesterday, what do you think was the deal?
NELLY KORDA: Honestly just course management. I flew it over almost every pin and was hitting it good. I was just flying it way too long. I was long on the majority of my holes.
No. 1 I was long in the bunker and I had a wedge in my hand. Placed in the fairway.
Then No. 3 I three-putted, and then -- or No. 2 I three-putted. No. 3 I had another wedge in my hand and I flew it over.
So it was just course management yesterday with the wind. Just couldn't play well. Overall, struck the ball well.
Q. Yeah.
NELLY KORDA: I'm very pleased with the way that I struck the ball today off the tee; something I've been struggling with this year. This was by far the best I've hit it off the tee, so a little bit of positivity going into KPMG.
Obviously I'm not here for the weekend.
Q. KPMG, you get to rest up and get out there. Have you ever seen this golf course?
NELLY KORDA: No, never been there.
Q. Wow. Good place though, right?
NELLY KORDA: I heard, yeah. I heard it's nice.
