Q. All right, here with Carlota after her second round at the Meijer LPGA Classic. 5-under, 67. Talk about the day today. Looked like plenty of birdies out there.
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, yeah, played very solid. I thought yesterday as well I was playing very good. Stayed patient out there, so I started making a few putts on hole 7, 9 as well, the par-5s.
And then the back nine I hit good shots and made really, yeah, good putts coming in. Yeah, very happy with the round.
Q. Looked like most of the birdies came in right before you turn and right after the turn. Did you get into a good groove around that time?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I started. I mean, I hit it pretty close and made a couple good putts that gave me confidence. Yeah, I felt pretty good out there.
Q. This week is a big week but heading into next week with KPMG, how does it feel to get two really good rounds under your belt?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, it's great. Coming here the week before a major obviously gives you confidence for playing next week. The course is one that I like. I enjoy coming here, and it's always fun playing in Grand Rapids.
Q. Talk about this course. We've seen if you miss the fairway can get pretty penalizing out there. People have still been able to put up some good scores missing the fairway. Why do you think this is?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, you have five par-5s that you can score there, and then you have some downwind holes as well that you can make a few birdies.
At the same time the greens are firmer than other years for sure and you still have to, yeah, hit good shots, good putts.
Yeah, I always feel comfortable in this golf course. I enjoy coming here and I seem to do well here.
